Creative Milkround 2012

 

Dear Creative Students,

 

The University of Leeds, in conjunction with Leeds College of Art and The Met would like to invite you to attend Creative Milkround 2012. This event is aimed at helping final year undergraduates from all three universities to receive feedback on their developing portfolios from some of the best creative professionals in the UK. 

 

When?                Wednesday 7^th March 2012 2pm - 6pm

·        Hallmark – The UK's leading greeting card publisher

·        Tigerprint – A design led greeting’s business who supply exclusively to M & S

·        Christies – the world’s leading art business

·        Dubit - Specialises in Virtual Worlds and Casual Games for kids.

·        West Yorkshire Theatre Network – Connecting all creatives in West Yorkshire

·        Clearsilver Marketing – A full service brand marketing agency

·        Orchard – Digital, Creative and Marketing Recruitment

·        Numiko - A digital media agency who work with leading broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV and Sky.

·        Two Birds One Stone -  A Leeds-based creative agency that specialises in working with brands that target the youth market.

 

 

You will get the opportunity to attend companies presentations, who will be offering any top tips including, what qualities they look for in new recruits, how you can stand out and how to make an impact considering the tough competition in this sector.

 

      You will also be able to show your developing portfolios of final year work and get to speak to up to 3 employers on a one to one basis. PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH YOUR CHOICE OF UP TO 3 EMPLOYERS THAT YOU WISH TO SPEAK TO BY MONDAY 5^TH MARCH AT 4PM. THESE WILL BE BOOKED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
